Team Washington is a non-profit organization that
has been established to help foster Folk-Style
Wrestling for kids in the state of Washington.
Are goal is for Team Washington to have 50 or more
wrestlers attending the Folk-Style Nationals in
Virginia Beach, Virginia every year. We hope to
further enrich the lives of our student-athletes
and their families by providing fun and entertaining
activities in Virginia each year. The national
tournament is sponsored by the NHSCA and to learn
more of this event, please click on the link NHSCA.

| Team
Washington hosts two annual fundraisers to support
these goals. The first is the
Rob
Hermann Wrestling Clinic held
at Ford
Middle School in Tacoma, Washington on
the Saturday before Thanksgiving each year. The second
is the Math
Relay,
and this event is held at the Franklin
Pierce School District Stadium every June. Please
click on the links for these events to learn more.
The proceeds
will help coaches and wrestlers in financial need get
to this tournament. We also hope with our group buying
power we can lower the cost of the total trip.
We also hope this site will also provide a place for
the parents to exchange information about trip plans,
airfare and fun wrestling memories in Virginia. We
will also have some scheduled information about qualifying
tournaments, practices after the regular wrestling
season and group rates for travel in the near future
on this site.
Team Washington would like to invite any coach brining
kids to this event to email your coaching information
to Coach Kyle Foster, and he will put together a coaching
biography page for all attending. Each year we need
coaches that are at Virginia to help coach kids traveling
alone and it would be nice for the wrestlers and their
families to know who we are. Once we know which wrestlers
qualify for the national tournament, we would also
like to get their information loaded as well. Keep
checking each month for new and exciting information
about Team Washington to appear on this web site.
Sincerely,
Coach, Kyle S. Foster
